2009
It was crazy for us huh? We've come back fighting, and we're stronger than ever. We've changed a lot as a group. There's so many new faces, new styles and new ideas, but I think we're still the same Hirari*YO at heart. There have been some difficult times, but that doesn't replace the happiness I feel, when we put out a successful release. And that's what we've been doing. Every song has been getting progressively better, and you only have yourselves to thank for that, and the hard work you've been putting in, despite each of us having her own battles to fight. I want to carry on the effort into the new year.

Which brings us to 2010.
The first thing that is going to be implemented is the senbatsu system. I have mentioned this before, but I think now's the time to be more detailed about it. The senbatsu, will work based around 2 things.

1) Whether you've done enough to attain a senbatsu place.
This goes with things like handing files in on time, the quality of your files, effort you put in. Basically, the harder you work, the more likely it is you'll be picked.

2) Whether you can actually do it.
The main reason for picking senbatsu is to give you time out once in a while. All members will still participate in the B-side, but I think it'll much easier for some people to record 1 track for one single, until they know they have time to do both. Does that make sense to everyone?

So that's all about senbatsu. The senbatsu system will begin on the 5th single. Everyone has a clean slate for 2010, and all past problems can be put to the back of our minds. I want to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Saying that, I need to know who is still definitely in. Please reply to this message with where you stand on Hirari. At least if everyone gets their situations out in the open, we can do our best to work around them, and not have too many suprises.

Our 4th single will be Yuuhi wo miteiru ka, c/w Inochi wo tsukaimichi. There will also be the Kira*NI version of Yuuhi in the single. This will be considered their debut. The colour coding for each track is already available, so that's your next task.

Iiwake Maybe got a feature on Yo!project's new radio show. They're a fandubbing project, that basically anyone can go and be a part of. You can upload your own group songs there for critique etc etc. They featured Iiwake and a review on their first show. I've uploaded that here so you can listen to what they have to say about us. And yes, they're rating us in Maeda Atsuko's xD

There is still the collaboration with Hana Project going ahead, it's just being pushed back a little.

Instead of doing a 5th single, we're going to be doing a mini album, and re-releasing our first 2 singles, plus another couple of songs. I guess it's kind of an old dub new dub kind of deal. As a way to kick start the new year, we'll be showing exactly how far we've come as a group. This mini album will include Kira*NI also.

Speaking of which, Kira*NI member Fuyumi has graduated.
I would also like to take the time to announce 2 new official Hirari*YO members. Congratulations to Kappa and Kary. I hope that you'll enjoy the upgrade. I'll brief you on your new tasks soon enough. This will come into effect immediately, however, there won't be official activity for you until after the 4th single. Just have the satisfaction of knowing that you rule xD

Kappa was promoted because of the fact that she kicked ass filling in, during the last single, despite not knowing one of the songs. Anyone that can give me that kind of dedication deserves to be promoted.

Kary, I promoted you, because you seem genuinely eager to be a part of the group. You're taking opportunities to get involved, and I get a trustworthy and kind vibe from you.

I need one more person for the hone hone waltz group, so we can get that done. Even Hirari members can participate

Lilmenchi and Nana are now full members.

Ashe doesn't feel up to full membership right now, she's got a lot going on, so she's going to stay and become leader of the next generation of Kira.

I've auto graduated Rui and if Kang doesn't check in by the deadlines, then I'm going to auto grad her too.

Maybe now we'll have some stability and be able to start the new year as we mean to go on.

I'm putting my trust in every member that has said she wants to be here. Please don't let me, yourselves and each other down.

Let's rock this.
